The upstairs has 2 large bedrooms: one with 2 full size beds, the other a queen size bed. Additionally, the spacious living room has a sleeper sofa, so plenty of room to stretch out, relax and easily sleeps 8. The kitchen offers everything for cooking a family meal and the formal dining room has a large table which seats 8. Enjoy the charming vintage bathroom while taking a soak in the claw foot tub. Whether you stay a weekend or more the laundry room has a wash sink, washer and dryer for you to use. The exterior deck has a gas grill, outdoor table and chairs. You can go fishing and enjoy our fire pit right on the river front or sit on the deck with a drink while watching the barges go by. This property is conveniently located on the main road in LeClaire Iowa and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, distilleries, bars and a grocery store right across the street. We have put a lot of time and love into renovating this home for many to enjoy. It has many of the comforts of home while offering the LeClaire charm. We hope you enjoy your stay with us.

    The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The host was nice and communication was great. We enjoyed being so close to all the shops and watching the trains out back. A perfect little getaway with our kids!

    Beautiful home, loved to relax on the deck and watch the river go by. Kitchen has everything you need including coffee/tea bar. The beds were super comfortable. The train goes by several times a day/night but really didn’t cause any problems with sleeping. They do supply ear plugs if needed. Chanda allowed us to check in early which was much appreciated. The little town of LeClaire was so much fun. All the shops and restaurants are walkable from the home and everyone was so nice. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

    Our Weekend Stay
    We stayed for three nights. Loved the location for access to downtown shopping strip and activities. The only drawback was train blowing its horn right outside the back door about three times through the night. We adjusted, and had a wonderful time in La Claire. T. White
